LEADER:

We are ever in the company of the blessed Lord, who causes, orders and restores all things.

PEOPLE:

Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a right spirit within me.

LEADER:

Be our companion, O Lord, on our way through the garden of Creation.

PEOPLE:

As You desire us, so we desire You.

LEADER:

As You think of us, so we think of You.

PEOPLE:

As You enliven us, so we live for You.

LEADER:

May we never stray from Your side, O Giver of Life.

ALL:

Amen.

LEADER:

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. God is good and kind to all, and God's tenderness embraces all creation. Lord, your creatures thank You, and Your faithful servants bless You. They proclaim Your might and glory. They affirm Your power.

PEOPLE:

Blessed be the Lord, without beginning, without ending, to everlasting, to eternity, to all generations, forever.

ALL:

Amen.

LEADER:

You are Lord of the Elements.

PEOPLE:

Ruler of the Sun, Ruler of the Moon.

LEADER:

Ruler of the Planets, Ruler of the Stars.

PEOPLE:

Ruler of the Earth, Ruler of the Sky.

LEADER:

Lovely is Your contenance.

PEOPLE:

And beautiful is Your radiance.

ALL:

Amen.

ALL:

O Lord, listen to our prayer; let our petition come to You, for we know that You hear us as surely as though we saw You with our own eyes. Let no notion come to our heart, no fancy to our mind, no ruffle to our spirit, that is hurtful to us this day, or ill for our soul at the hour of our death. May You, O Lord of Life, be at our breast and our back. Be as a star and guide to us, from our life's beginning to our life's closing, Amen.

LEADER:

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. --- Hebrews 1:1-3

The Leader pours some wine into the Chalice and says:

LEADER:

Abide with us, O Son of God, that we may delight in Your presence. As we fill this cup with the fruit of the earth, fill our hearts with compassion, our homes with generousity, and our community with harmony.

ALL:

Amen.

The Leader places his/her hands over the Chalice and the Bread and says:

LEADER:

Bless, O Lord, this wine and bread that we are about to receive. With Your own hand, O Lord of the Elements, consecrate it. May it be good for our spirits and our flesh.

ALL:

Amen.

The leader will then give all in attendance a piece of the bread.  Afterwards, the chalice shall be passed to all.
